We are upgrading our Intel Minecraft Hosting infrastructure to deliver
better performance, improved stability, and stronger long-term value
for our customers.
The processor is being upgraded from Intel® Xeon® Gold to
Intel® Xeon® Platinum 8168, featuring a 2.7 GHz base clock speed,
2666 MHz memory support, and high-speed NVMe SSD storage. This change
comes after a detailed review of hardware performance, operational
efficiency, and overall infrastructure costs.
Our previous Intel® Xeon® Gold systems had become increasingly costly
to maintain. With recent improvements in availability and pricing of
Intel® Xeon® Platinum hardware, this upgrade allows us to enhance the
platform while maintaining consistent performance and service quality.

No action is required from customers. All services will continue to
operate normally during and after the upgrade process.

High Performance Minecraft Hosting
We are officially upgrading our High Performance Minecraft Hosting
infrastructure to improve overall performance, stability, and network
quality for all customers.
The High Performance CPU is being changed from AMD EPYC™ 9124 3.0GHz to
AMD EPYC™ 4244P . After reviewing real-world performance and customer
feedback, we concluded that the previous processor no longer matched
the performance standards expected from our High Performance lineup.
This upgrade ensures stronger single-core efficiency and improved
game server responsiveness.
Alongside the hardware change, server location is being migrated from
Chennai to Mumbai. The new environment will operate on a dedicated
static 1 GBPS internet uplink and includes OVHCloud Anti-DDoS
Protection for improved network reliability and security.
New Hardware Specifications:
• CPU: AMD EPYC™ 4244P
• Memory: DDR5 5200 MHz On-Die ECC RAM
• Storage: NVMe SSD with Soft RAID configuration
• Network: Static 1 GBPS Uplink
• Protection: OVHCloud Anti-DDoS
These changes will apply to all existing and future High Performance
Minecraft Hosting servers and plan pricing. Our goal is to maintain a
strong balance between performance, stability, and long-term service
value while continuing to improve infrastructure quality.

New EPYC Minecraft Hosting
We are introducing a new EPYC Minecraft Hosting lineup designed to
maintain the performance and affordability that many users trusted in
our previous High Performance infrastructure.
This new EPYC Hosting will continue using the same reliable hardware
configuration that was previously part of our High Performance plans.
Our goal is to ensure that customers who prefer budget-friendly EPYC
solutions can continue enjoying stable performance without being
forced into higher-cost upgrades.

As we upgraded the High Performance lineup with newer infrastructure,
we also recognized that many users still prefer the balance of
performance and affordability offered by the EPYC 9 series. Instead of
removing this option completely, we decided to launch a dedicated EPYC
Minecraft Hosting category so customers can continue using a familiar
and budget-friendly environment.
This change allows us to keep High Performance plans focused on newer
hardware while still supporting users who want reliable EPYC-based
servers at a more accessible price point.
